What set us apart from the other guys.
Any product is only as good as its application and that is where we shine. We go above and beyond to make sure to provide the highest quality work every time. Every job that leaves of our shop is a job we are proud to put our name on. Below is a step by step guide to our rustproofing procedure.
Step 1: Vehicle prep and storage
We ask that vehicles are dropped off washed the day before appointment. This allows us time to do any additional touch-up prewashing if need. Vehicles are then stored indoors over night so that they are warm, dry and ready to go in the morning. Our large shop allows us to store up to 9 vehicles safely indoors overnight.

Step 3: Disassembly
We remove things like taillights, spare tires, door seals, skid plates, sill plates, factory plugs, sight shields, underbody shields, wheels & tires, and much more. Every vehicle varies on which parts need to be removed to properly access rust prone areas. We do our absolute best to avoid drilling any unnecessary holes in vehicles. We will also preform another prewash after disassembly if needed.

Step 5: Reassembly
At this point we carefully reassemble the vehicle, putting back all the parts we removed. If a clip breaks or a screw strips, we have OEM replacement hardware in stock for most vehicles. unlike many competitors, Matt is seasoned autobody technician. On top of knowing what we are doing and we are also licensed and insured to do so.

Step 2: Vehicle analysis
Every vehicle get its own customized procedure plan. We look over each vehicle to find all the access points necessary for that particular make, model and year. After years of experience we are very knowledgeable about many different vehicles. If we are not familiar with a particular vehicle, we will carefully review it to evaluate what needs to be done for a thorough job. We also adjust our plan as needed to any upgrades or aftermarket products that have been added.

Step 4: Rustproofing application
The machine we use for our rustproofing application is state of the art and the best money can buy. It has multiple spray guns, wand attachments, and accessories to atomize our product. It utilizes air pressure to force rustproofing materials into all the hard reach nooks, crannies; even welded seams. We treat everything from the window line down including: inside and out of all body panels, inside and out of frame/unibody structure, entire floor board, and all suspension parts. We will also apply product to steel component of aftermarket products like running board brackets or fifth wheel plates.

Step 6: Paperwork and final wash
To finish things up, we record detailed notes about what was done to your vehicle and the current condition of it. All of this information will also be noted on your receipt for you to refer back to if needed. After the paperwork is completed, we give each vehicle an exterior wash. We use professional wash products and tools that are wax and ceramic coating safe. then we dry the vehicle using a cordless blower, wipe down door jams and wash windows with a tint safe cleaner. When everything is completed we call to let you know your vehicle is ready. When you pick up your vehicle we will go over all of our notes with you and answer any questions you might have.
Average completion time: 3-6 hrs. per vehicle.

What goes into a maintenance recoat and what do they cost? Our respray procedure starts with a hot water prewash to remove as much built up dirt as possible from the undercarriage of your vehicle. After everything is dry, we go over your entire vehicle, disassembling as needed, and reapplying product anywhere it is necessary . Compared to the initial application, a maintenance application typically only takes about a third of the time and about a third of the rustproofing material therefore only costing you about a third of the original amount.

To ensure every job is completed to our highest standards, all work is completed by just us, Matt and Robyn. Unfortunately, the down side of that is that it does limit the amount of work we can schedule. Our busy season runs from the second half of September through February. During this time we can see lead times as far out as 12 weeks plus, we recommend you plan accordingly. If you call to schedule during the fall and winter months, we will do everything we can to get you an appointment as soon as we can, we just ask for your patients and understanding. During the spring and summer months, however, we typically can get your vehicle in within a couple weeks.
